Q. What is the difference between your tea and the tea in the supermarket?
A. Our tea is premium, loose-leaf tea, supplied in an organza pyramid bag and all of our ingredients are 100% organic. It is processed using traditional methods and is extremely fresh and delicious. With tea, you get exactly what you pay for. Cheaper teas really aren't comparable to the tea we supply and generally taste bitter. Tea supplied in a standard tea bag generally contains a lot of dust, stalks and other parts of the leaf, so you won't get the same great taste or health benefits as with high grade tea.
Q. I would like to try your tea but don't really know where to start. What do you recommend?
We have a variety of different blends. Some are made with black tea (which contains a little caffeine as is therefore good for a pick-me-up). Some contain green tea or white tea and this is packed full of antioxidants (because of the way it is processed) and these tea are very good for those who are health conscious or who are trying to lose weight.
Q. Why is the tea you supply so good?
Because we only supply premium, organic green and oolong tea that is picked during spring or the early summer months, to ensure that you get the freshest, purest product. When you buy loose-leaf tea in this way, you can be sure you are getting tea made from only the best parts of the buds and leaves, with nothing dusty and unpleasant included!
Q. Does green tea contain caffeine?
Yes it does, but content varies by the amount of tea and how long the leaves are left to steep. In green tea, caffeine, tannin, essential oils and vitamins work together in a very beneficial way. The caffeine in tea boosts your circulation and metabolism via the central nervous system, and the tannin helps the caffeine be absorbed more slowly, preventing the caffeine rush that you get from coffee.
If you are worried about having too much caffeine, simply pour hot water over your tea leaves and then pour away this water after 45 seconds - this will remove 80% of the caffeine. The next infusion will then be delicious and virtually caffeine free!

Q. What is the difference between your White Line and Black Line teas?
Both of our ranges contain only the highest quality, organic teas. The White Line was designed to try and do something really special with the concept of drinking tea and is therefore ideal as a treat, to impress guests or as a gift. The Black Line has been produced as a more affordable, every day range for tea lovers everywhere.
Q. Do you ship to Ireland, the UK, Canada, Europe, etc?
Yes we do. Shipping costs will be indicated upon checkout.
Q. How secure is your shopping cart and what is your return policy?
Our shopping cart is very secure and you can buy with confidence. We do not store any of your payment details and use page encryption for additional security. With regard to returns, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, please contact us within 28 days of receiving your goods and we will resolve any problems quickly.
Q. Will I need to buy a teapot or what other teaware is best?
The teaware you can use will depend on how you like to prepare your tea. We sell teaware to complement our ranges and complete the experience, but any of you favourite mugs or cups will do. You can also put the teabags into a small teapot with hot water, and pour from there.
Q. Can I use cream, sugar, honey, or sweeteners?
Our black teas can be served with milk if required, and sugar can be used for a sweeter taste. However, because of the quality of all of our teas, nothing really needs to be added and they are best appreciated just by adding hot (not boiling) water, before leaving to infuse for 3-5 minutes. This allows the delicate and wonderful flavours to develop fully.

that weigh over 500g, the goods are dispatched by courier.

Shipping Addresses

ship items to separate mailing addresses ONLY by placing separate orders

each destination.
Mailing
to a P.O. Box
Because of
Mail limitations, Pure Tea Company Ltd. cannot ship items to a Post
Office box.
A street address is required for all deliveries. Please be sure to enter

Terms of
Purchase
The terms
and conditions set forth in these terms of purchase (this
("Agreement") and the "Terms of Access" constitute the
entire agreement between Pure Tea Company Ltd. ("Pure Tea Company
Ltd.") and you (the "Buyer") concerning product purchase through
the Website. Capitalise terms used
herein shall have the meaning as defined herein, or if not defined, as
defined
in the Terms of Access.
1. Offer
and Acceptance
By ordering
a product on the Website, Buyer shall be deemed to have made an offer to
buy
the specified product from Pure Tea Company Ltd. pursuant to this
Agreement. The acceptance and
fulfilment by Pure Tea Company Ltd. of any order placed on the Website
is
subject to Buyer's acceptance of all of the terms of this Agreement.
2. Prices,
Availability and Taxes
Prices of
product on the Website are subject to change at any time without notice.
All products may not be available in
all areas. Product availability is
subject to change at any time and Pure Tea Company Ltd. makes no
representations of warranties regarding product availability. Buyer
shall be responsible
for any tax or other governmental charge due to the sale, use or
delivery of
the product, including, but not limited to, Sales Tax, Use Tax,
Retailer's
Occupational Tax, Gross Revenue Tax, Value Accrued or Value Added Tax,
and
Transportation Tax. All applicable taxes and other charges will be added
to the
purchase price.
3. Payment
When
ordering products on the Website, Buyer may use VISA, MASTERCARD, SWITCH
or
AMERICAN EXPRESS. Pure Tea Company Ltd. will not accept cheques or Cash
on
Delivery payments. If Buyer fails to pay for any products received, Pure
Tea
Company Ltd. shall have the right, in addition to other remedies, to
suspend or
cancel further deliveries, and to proceed in any court of proper
jurisdiction
against Buyer for all amounts due to Pure Tea Company Ltd., including,
but not
limited to, legal fees, costs and interest.

Shipping, Title and Risk of Loss
Pure Tea
Company Ltd. will ship products using the shipping method selected by
Buyer on
the Website. All sales are made F.O.B., the shipping point. Pure Tea
Company
Ltd. shall use reasonable efforts to cause products to be delivered to
Buyer by
requested delivery dates, but shall in no event be liable for any losses
or
damages caused by delay or non-delivery of products. Buyer shall be
responsible
for all shipping charges. Title and risk of loss in the products shall
pass to
Buyer upon Pure Tea Company Ltd.' (or its agent's) delivery to the
carrier at
the shipping point.

EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES. Buyer is solely
responsible
for determining the suitability of the products for the uses and

contemplated by Buyer. Buyer assumes all risks and liabilities arising
out of
possession, use, or resale of the products, whether used singly or in
combination with other material, including, but not limited to, any risk
or
liability based on alleged negligence on the part of Pure Tea Company
Ltd.
7. Buyer's
Representations
Buyer
represents that he/she has the requisite power and authority to enter
into this
Agreement and to perform the obligations under this Agreement. Buyer
represents
that he/she has provided accurate information to Pure Tea Company Ltd.
in
purchasing products through the Website and that his/her offer to
purchase
products complies with all applicable laws. Buyer acknowledges and
agrees that
he/she is solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and
regulations concerning Buyer's purchase, possession, use, or resale of
the
products. Buyer further represents that he/she is familiar with the
characteristics of the products, and will comply with all laws,
regulations,
and standards applicable to the possession, handling, processing or use
of the
products by Buyer, including, but not limited to, the Occupational
Safety &
Health Act of 1970.

Indemnification
Buyer shall
defend, indemnify and hold Pure Tea Company Ltd. and its suppliers,
including,
but not limited to, their affiliates, agents, assigns, lawyers,
employees,
insurers, officers, predecessors, representatives, and successors,
harmless
from and against all claims, liabilities, costs and expenses (including,
but
not limited to, those related to injury or to death of Buyer or other
persons)
arising from or connected with (a) a breach by Buyer of this Agreement
or (b)
the possession, handling, use, or resale of the products by Buyer or
others,
including, but not limited to, any claims alleging negligence on the
part of
Pure Tea Company Ltd. Pure Tea Company Ltd. may participate in the
defence of
any such claim for the further protection of its own interests.
9. Limitation
of Claims
Without
limiting the scope of any other terms and conditions herein, any and all
claims
related to products sold to Buyer through the Website shall be made
within
thirty (30) days after receipt of the product to which the claim
relates, or if
for non-delivery, after the scheduled delivery date thereof. Buyer's
failure to
give Pure Tea Company Ltd. written notice of any claim within the
applicable
time period shall constitute an absolute and unconditional waiver of
such
claim. In no event shall Buyer commence any action against Pure Tea
Company
Ltd. related to products sold to Buyer through the Website later than
one year
after receipt of the product giving rise to such action.
10.
Limitation of Liability
Without
limiting the scope of any other terms and conditions herein, including
Pure Tea
Company Ltd.' disclaimer of warranties, no claim of any kind, whether as
to
products delivered or for non-delivery of products, or otherwise, and
whether
based on contract, breach of warranty, negligence, strict liability,
indemnity,
contribution, or otherwise, shall be greater in amount than the purchase
price
of the products in respect of which damages are claimed. IN NO EVENT
SHALL Pure
Tea Company Ltd. BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF PROFITS OR GOOD
WILL,
OR ANY OTHER INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER
BUYER'S
CLAIM IS BASED ON CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT
LIABILITY,
INDEMNITY, CONTRIBUTION, OR OTHERWISE, AND NOTWITHSTANDING ANY CLAIM
THAT SUCH
LOSSES WERE REASONABLY FORESEEABLE TO Pure Tea Company Ltd. OR ANY
FAILURE OF
ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY REMEDY.
11. Force
Majeure
Without
limiting the scope of any other terms and conditions herein, Pure Tea
Company
Ltd. shall not be responsible or liable for any delay or failure to
deliver any
or all of the products for causes beyond its reasonable control,
including, but
not limited to, any cause or circumstance which makes impracticable the
production, transportation or delivery of the products. Pure Tea Company
Ltd.
may cancel an order to the extent the quantity not delivered is due to
any such
cause or circumstance. In no event shall Pure Tea Company Ltd. be
obligated to
purchase products to replace any quantity not delivered due to any such
cause
or circumstance. In the event of any cause or circumstance excusing Pure
Tea
Company Ltd., Pure Tea Company Ltd. shall have the right to allocate any
remaining product supply among its customers, including those not under
contract, in a fair and reasonable manner, and Buyer hereby releases
Pure Tea
Company Ltd. from responsibility or liability for any resulting
incomplete
fulfillment of Buyer's order.
12. General
a) No
waiver by either party of any breach of any terms or conditions
contained
herein shall be construed as a waiver of any succeeding breach of the
same or
any other terms or condition herein. Nothing contained herein shall
limit the
remedies of Pure Tea Company Ltd. in the event of Buyer's breach of this
Agreement.
b) All
notices related to this Agreement shall be in writing. The parties
expressly
agree that electronic communications shall be considered "writings"
for all purposes under applicable law. If notice is not sent by
electronic
communications, notices shall be deemed given when delivered to or sent
by
Royal Mail, first class, postage prepaid, and, if to Buyer, sent to the
address
identified by Buyer when registering to purchase products through the
Website
and, if to Pure Tea Company Ltd., Pure Tea Company Ltd., Unit 41, The
Old
Brickworks, Plumpton Green, East Sussex, BN7 3DF.
c) If any
terms and conditions herein are held to be invalid or unenforceable,
such
holding shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other
term or
condition herein.
